DASHResearchers at the University of Berkeley have created a fast running robot that is able to withstand long falls due to the flexible body.

The robot is called DASH whish stands for Dynamic Autonomous Sprawled Hexapod.

Using a 3 legged oar like gate, the robot is able to move at 15 times its own body length per second.

The robot is made from laminated cardboard and can basically be printed out and assembled in about an hour.  Can you say robotic cockroach?
