Berti The Robot Plays Rock, Paper, Scissors

img_1038-1Visitors to the London Science Museum this week can play Rock, Paper, Scissors with a robot.  How cool is that?

Berti the robot was built by the Bristol Robotics Lab.  Berti speaks and has natural hand movements.  This is also his first time out of the lab.

So far Berti has cost over 200,000 pounds.  The Bristol Robotics Lab hope to further their studies in artificial intelligence and make more humanoid robots like Berti that are intuitive and natural to interact with.

Video after the break.
